At Exe Estuary Pest Control we understand the effects of having an un-wanted fox on your property
The majority of complaints involving urban foxes include digging holes in garden lawns and flower beds, fouling in gardens, biting through garden light cables and irrigation pipes, fouling in school playgrounds and digging holes in sports fields.
In the country side this can also include attacks and killing of livestock, chickens etc.
In the urban situation the removal of a fox from its territory merely creates a vacancy for another fox to move into – often within days – and is therefore pointless.
At Exe Estuary Pest Control we use various techniques including the use of humane deterrence. This allows the fox to remain in its territory, but educates it to either change its behaviour or to avoid the property where they are causing a nuisance.
We do in some circumstances deploy cage traps to trap an individual rogue fox.
